the end of the summer. It plays a great mix of old and new songs. A
lot of classics. Surprisingly there was no Pink. But I did hear St.
Elmos Fire. And something from Nelson; I think they were Ricky
Nelson's sons with the blonde hair. A bunch of Huey Lewis and Billy
Joel. Best of all, no one complained about the music, not even me.
Lots of running around today. Picking people up and dropping them off.
Today was Halloween. The afternoon became a mini Goodfellas day.
Wait a minute. The whole day was like that. I voted today. For Obama
and against at all Constitutional amendments. I drove to Hagen Ranch
library and from the time I got there till I left was exactly an hour.
It was well organized. First we signed the certificate for early
voting. Then we checked in. The we got our ballots, big thingies. We
had to connect the arrows. Like my Trace game on my iPhone. From there
I went to Spanish River to volunteer in the guidance office. Then go
home for lunch and stuff. I stopped by my office and picked up Carly
at regency. Thankfully Meredith stopped by and took Carly to swimming.
So I went to get gas, mail my tax stuff, get Issy and then pick up
dinner from Joe's. Later at 11:00pm, I had to get Carly and friends
from Woodfield and take home Sam Cohen and Sam Jacobs. So 50-some
miles later, I was home.
Pink was a good station for all that schlepping.
